Hotel is located halfway between the railway station and old town, about 10-15 minutes walk to each. From the station you can take trams 2 & 3 to the Filharmonia stop just by the hotel.
The receptionist was very friendly and advised I had received a room upgrade to a Business Room, not sure why but was gratefully received.
The room was simply but nicely furnished with a hallway leading in from the door and the bathroom off this. I like hotels with this feature as it reduces noise from the corridor. Curtains worked well in darkening the room combined with very little noise meant a very good nights sleep.
2 bottles on mineral water and a kettle with tea and coffee provided along with a minibar.
A desk for working from with good lighting and fast wifi made working easy.
I dined in the hotel restaurant which was very good – nicely designed, great food and friendly service at a good price.
Breakfast had a decent spread of food, I would have liked more fruits.
Would I stay here again? 100% yes and would eat in the restaurant again as well.
