B&B Hotel Torun
A short walk from Torun Miasto railway station (note the main station is the other side of the river and is further from the old town) this budget option offers good value for money.
The location is just in the edge of the old town, which is well worth a weekend visit.
The check was smooth and informative with a friendly and chatty lady. First time I have been to a hotel were the room has a keypad to enter rather than a key.
The rooms are basic but functional for a night or two. My room was at the back of the hotel and there was no noise. The window blind was not that good at blocking light out. I had a good nights sleep.
The bathroom is basic but functional and was clean.
Wifi worked well and there was a desk type space to work from.
Breakfast was basic but had enough to start the day with.
Would I stay here again? Yes if the other options in the city are not available / too expensive. Don’t get me wrong the hotel offers excellent value for money but I feel it would be good to stay in the old town in a character hotel.
