Great list! I can highly recommend the Romanian trip having visited around ~90% of all destinations which are covered there, including a few nights at the mentioned homestays. Great insight into local Romanian life and some lovely train rides!
The Romanian trip looks really interesting.
I’ve been lucky and travelled the Golden Eagle twice, Rovos Rail, Bernina (many times) and the Toy Train to Shimla.
