How To Book LUX Express in The Baltics
by AndyBrabin · Published · Updated
Travelling within the Baltic's can be quite difficult by train as there lots of missing gaps in the rail network! Fortunately there is a good network of long distance coaches that help to fill in those missing gaps with operators such as LUX Express, Eurolines and Ecolines.
My preference is to travel with LUX Express as I have always found them to be professional and reliable. Their website is luxexpress.eu
I have put together a step by step guide to buying a ticket with LUX Express - for this example my trip from Pärnu in Estonia to Riga in Latvia is used.
STEP ONE
Load the LUX Express website, click here for the English version.
In the top left of the page is a section "Sales System" - the From and To boxes are drop downs with a list of destinations:
STEP FOUR
You now need to choose the ticket that is applicable to you i.e. if you have any discounts - I don't so am choosing the "Full Ticket" price. At this stage you can choose your seat from a Seat Map.
You need to input your name and a contact telephone number, in case anything changes to your trip. The ticket once issued will be emailed to you so it is important that you enter the correct email address!
Once completed click "Add to Cart"
