Hotel Liebl Plattling Bavaria Review

The Hotel Liebl Plattling in Bavaria is a great base to explore Bavaria from! The hotel is located across the road from the railway station. There are, for example, direct trains to Munich, Passau and Nuremburg. It could be a very affordable spot to stay during the Munich Oktoberfest!

Check in was carried out the person who was acting as waitress in the restaurant meaning a slight delay in checking in, but it was handled well.

My room was located on the first floor, the hotel has no lift. The room was simply furnished in a rustic style and was very pleasant – located at the back of the hotel out of direct sunlight the room was cool on a very hot day, 35c, and with no air conditioning this was an advantage. The bathroom was clean and functional with good water pressure in the shower. Wifi worked well.

The highlight of the hotel, in my opinion, is the restaurant – on a hot summer evening the outside dining area was an ideal location to enjoy some good traditional Bavarian food. Breakfast was served indoors at the restaurant – I felt the breakfast was a little disappointing.

Would I stay here again? Definitely! The hotel is good value with a great restaurant – I paid €61.80 for dinner, bed and breakfast.
