Review: Moxy Warsaw Praga
The Moxy Warsaw Praga is a nicely appointed hotel in a highly interesting part of the Polish capital, and just a short walk from Warszawa Wschodnia station.
Praga is a district on the eastern side of Warsaw, on the other side of the River Vistula from the city centre.
From the Moxy Warsaw Praga it is at most a 10 minute walk to Warszawa Wschodnia – Warsaw Eastern – railway station, one of the three main stations in the city.
This is partly the reason why I chose this hotel, as it is a convenient railway hotel.
Besides, hotels in this part of Warsaw generally have more affordable prices than accommodation in central Warsaw.
About Praga
For anyone who values easy access to a railway station, as I often do on my travels, or for those planning a city break in Warsaw and looking for a well located, reliable place to stay, the Moxy Praga is a solid choice.
From the district of Praga, it is still easy and quick to get into the city centre of Warsaw and reach the Old Town by public transport.
What I like about Praga as a district is that it is not touristy, yet it is still a trendy, up-and-coming area.
The development of which the Moxy Warsaw is part has some really good restaurants, as well as shops and supermarkets, so it has everything you need in the immediate environs.

My stay at the Moxy Warsaw Praga
I booked my stay at the Moxy Warsaw Praga through my usual hotel booking website, Booking.com, with breakfast included on a refundable rate, as my travel plans change all the time and it is good to have the option to cancel or amend my dates.
My Marriott status was recognised despite booking through a third party website, and I received a room upgrade, which certainly was most welcome.
The room itself was very comfortable, and although the Moxy is not the most glamorous hotel in the world, you can be sure that everything is functional and well appointed.
Do note that there is no fridge or tea and coffee facilities in the room, although you can easily buy tea or coffee, or any other drinks, in the reception area.
The bathroom was clean, with nice quality towels.

Food
At the Moxy, the reception also doubles as the bar area. The reception area has a couple of games, such as table football and billiards, and it is generally quite lively, with things going on.
Breakfast at the Moxy Warsaw Praga was relatively basic but perfectly acceptable for the price paid for my hotel booking.
They also offer other food options throughout the day, such as speciality flatbreads for dinner, a bit similar to pizza, which certainly hit the spot.
If you arrive hungry at the hotel, this could work out well.

Conclusion
The Moxy Warsaw Praga is a good hotel to stay at in the Polish capital, located in an interesting district just outside the city centre.
The Old Town is just a short trip away by public transport, and the main line Warszawa Wschodnia station is only a 10-minute walk.
