US train company Amtrak has a fantastic flash sale for nationwide travel, offering 25% off tickets on routes across the country.
Aptly called the “Falling Fares Sale,” this flash sale is valid for travel in the fall between 14 October and 18 December 2025.

The 25% discount applies to Amtrak routes nationwide, including Acela and Northeast Regional trains on the busy Northeast Corridor between Washington DC, New York, and Boston, as well as on many long-distance sleeper trains.

Terms and conditions
The flash sale runs until Tuesday, 7 October, and is valid for travel between 14 October and 18 December 2025.
Tuesday, 11 November, as well as 21 November through 1 December, are travel blackout dates when discounted tickets are not available.
Keep in mind that discounted tickets are limited in availability and can sell out quickly.
